How do you find the right colors of makeup for your face?

I have hazel (from green to blue) they have an awesome design in them, tan skin, brown longish hair, and full lips. How do you find the right colors of makeup for your face?
go for purple or deep green for your eyes.

if you're wanting to emphasize your lips, go for a medium to dark red or brown. If you're wanting to minimize your lips, go for a clear or near flesh color gloss.

if your skin is fairly consistent in color, you really don't need to bother with foundation. a rose colored blush will help if you want to bring out your cheekbonesHow do you find the right colors of makeup for your face?
Well I think you'll have to first know whether you have cool (look better with silver accessories) or warm (look better with gold accessories) or neutral (lucky people; they look good in just about anything!) undertones. Also another way to determine undertone is to look at the underside of your wrist (or any area that hardly receives sunlight). Do your veins appear bluish (cool) or greenish (warm) or an even mixture of both (neutral)? That solves a lot of questions about which colors would flatter your skintone! You should try to stick with colors with the same undertones as your skin. Good luck!
Definitely get a pro to tell you.

Next time you're at the mall go to a makeup counter in the department store and ask if they can help you find the right color for your face...they're excellent at it-it's their job! If you don't feel like paying the price, try to memorize the color and go to Walmart, or wherever, and get Covergirl, or whatever other brand.
go to a over the counter make over they are pretty good in shop body shop does it for free right then you can see what suits you they have great knowledge to and you can purchase the right colour's for you eyes cheeks and lips

thin lizzy is pretty good to all in one make up for $50
I'm not very good with Tan skin tone,I'd go to a make up artist or any make up store and ask them for help. All I know is that I wouldn't go with really bright colors. Doesn't look that great.

Maybe natural looking colors?
