your skin color is kinda tan, you should use creamy natural found. What kind of cheap makeup makes my face not look all powdery?
One of the best low-end brands is Australis. 'I use the Perfection Brush-on Foundation is liquid, so it doesn't make your face 'powdery', but if your skin is prone to oiliness, I wouldn't recommend it.

The skin colours are all different for each brand, so I couldn't say a specific colour. Just go to your local pharmacy or department store and try out a few samples on your jawline (where it's its hardest to blend the colour) and see if it matches.

But in general, I'd say your were a fair-medium from that photo.
try the maybelline mousse foundation. and, i'd suggest you go get it matched professionally. you don't have to buy their foundation, but then you get a pretty good idea of what looks good on you and what doesn't
hard to say what color you are from the picture the best thing to do is go to a mall and have a makeup consultant do your makeup she can tell you the shade that you are then u can go to the drug store and buy the cheaper stuff or go to ULTA they have great consultants :) and i would do a foundation liquid or mousse i perfer mousse/whipped and then get covergirl compressed powder it gives u a smooth even texture :) and doesnt look powdery
Get a spritzer (like one you would use to put water in for your hair). Add water. LIGHTLY spritz on your face before foundation application. It automatically helps your foundation look less cakey.

The best way to test foundation is to put it on your jawbone, right at your neck. If you test it here, you can see exactly how it will match up to your neck.

Also, make sure to wait a little bit before picking the foundation after doing this test. Sometimes, foundation will become darker after it oxidizes and mixes with your natural oils. Therefore, a foundation that matched your skin perfectly fifteen minutes ago, can become too dark.
First off think of your skin type. If you're oilier, go for a powder foundation. If you have drier skin, go for a liquid foundation. When picking a color just try and look at the color on the inside and match it to your face. If the color isn't the right one, you can always exchange it for a different shade. To avoid your skin from looking powdery, blend out the foundation really well. If you use a damp sponge, it will make the coverage more sheer and dewy.
i use bare naturale minerale makeup by l'oreal paris. it works greaaattt

idk the actaul color shades so your gonna have to figure that out. as long as you blend it good, dont put too much on it's perfect

also the problem you light be having with whatever you have now is that it is a shade to light. that will make it look powdery
