How can i make my face makeup look natural?

every time i put on facemakeup (daily) its really obvious!

it looks fine indoors, but when i go outside it looks TOTALLY wrong and NOT smooth and doesnt cover up my pimples.

when i put it on, i feel like im putting it on smoothly!

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS?How can i make my face makeup look natural?
what i do is i just put a thin layer of the liquid makeup on and then i brush over it with a loose powder, it helps to blend it inHow can i make my face makeup look natural?
Foundation: Ok, so to me, it sounds like you have the wrong colors for your skin. Whenever you go somewhere to buy foundation, always blend in a dab on your face and run outside with a little mirror, that way you can see if it is the right color. People might look at you funny, but it does work. I use trueblend by covergirl, and it really blends in well and smoothly. Realize that you do have to replace foundation every 4-6 months. Also, if you get tanner, you need to get a different foundation. To have it cover up pimples always use a liquid one. Powder ones just don't do justice. Although you can always put on powder after the liquid.

Coverup: Once you figure out your foundation you usually can find a coordinating concealer to cover up really red spots and pimples.

For eyeshadows and blushes: only get natural bronzers and shades slightly darker than your skin for it to look more natural.

Try putting on less make up over all, you should never have to get more than one coat on of foundation. if you still see pimples after one coat, use the cover up.

Hope I helped!

Try applying your makeup in natural lighting, like near a window. So you know how it will look outdoors. Try to use a foundation with better coverage like max-factor panstick rather than a liquid for better coverage. Apply it lightly with a sponge and blend it into your neck so it looks more natural. Set it with a translucent powder so it stays in place all day and appears smoother! Good luck, hope this helps! :)
Here's some advice from someone with a few years of experience with this.

There are some light bulbs you can buy that are supposed to be more natural light than others that might help since your makeup looks different when you go out.

I suggest using a makeup that looks natural. Mineral makeup is a very good natural makeup. It covers really really well. I touch my finger to the powder %26amp; dot it on to any blemishes I have before I apply it to my whole face with the brush.

It is better for your skin than other foundations because it is Talc Free %26amp; Oil Free. I'm 31 %26amp; still have some acne. I started using Avon's Smooth Mineral Makeup %26amp; Clearskin acne products about a month ago. My face is clear except for one tiny pimple on my left cheek.

I have used the Loreal brand of mineral makeup %26amp; it wasn't as good as this one. I can't even feel it on my skin %26amp; it looks completely natural. I have had a few friends change to it after they saw mine. One was using the really expensive Bare Minerals brand %26amp; likes Avon better.

Go to www.youravon.com/kwade3641 %26amp; look at it. You can read reviews %26amp; get free shipping to. Click the contact link %26amp; ask the sales rep to send you the code.
A smooth moisturizer will help make up go no much better especially if you have pimples. And it's possible that ur using to much face makeup. u may be putting ur foundation on too heavy and it's clumpping up on u, and make sure that ur face is totally dry when applying ur face make up, and if ur still not satisfied try getting rid of the those small irritations pimples and us and light powder make up that'll work 4 sure.. good luck
oooh ooh! Pick me! Lol!

I try to make my makeup look natural, and i usually succeed! Well, u can try mineral powder by maybeline or loreal. Works great. Then put liquid eyeliner, black or brown, on ur top lid with mascara. Put no eyeliner on the bottom lid!!! Then use a neutral brown shadow on ur eyelid, and a dark neutral brown on ur crease. Put on a mirage looking lip gloss. Wala! Hope i helped.
Lighting does play a big role in this..

Maybe your foundation isnt the right color for your skin, bring a friend with you next time you pick out foundation to get a second opinion. If you want to invest a little bit more on your make up get professinal help, Mac make up artists are great!! Clinque and Estee Launder is great too.. And mineral make up is the way to go, it looks very natural and theres only like 8 shades to chose from usually..........

Make sure you prime your face and put mousterizer on it before you apply foundation that is VERY VERY VERY important

Just go outside with a mirror to do it... I have the same problem. Lighting is totally the biggest issue. I always find that if I do it by sunlight, it looks fine indoors.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
get a good skin cleanser, such as neutregena advanced solutions, and then you won't have to use as much cover-up and it will look more natural
