Alright to start off I would suggest using a cover up, two very good kinds are MAC cover up, you can find that by going on to maccosmetics.com. Then the other concealer is by bear minerals. Either one works very well to cover up redness as well as any other imperfections.

I鈥檓 not really sure of what kind of look you want to go for with make- up so I would suggest looking up some celebrities who wear their make up like how you are wanting to then search how they do their make-up.

Another really good place to look for make how-to is You Tube. haha I know that sounds a little cheesy but their are some pretty good videos on their. And if I were you Id go to a local cosmetic store by you and ask one of the employees the store what some good products are as well as how to apply them and what would go best with you. It can all be a little over whelming at first but you get the hang of it at some point ;) haha.

I hope this helped. How to cover a red face with makeup?
You need a full coverage YELLOW based foundation and concealor as well. Do not use any foundation that has pink or red or orange underones to it. Bobbi brown makes good tones. I have red cheeks and I use a yellow concealer and liquid foundation to cover it then set it with powder. Then use a little bronzer as blush. I hate adding pink back in with blush. Go find a medium coverage yellow undertone foundTion at sephora and learn proper application
First off what is causing the redness? You may not want to put makeup on your face if you have a rash or problems with your skin. If it is just the complexion of your skin , find a good quality foundation such as cover girl and match your skin tone. apply it evenly over your face and dust with a matching powder. This should even out your skin unless the redness is really dark.
ha i had the same problem,

but what i found works is a green concealer.

yeah i know that sounds weird, putting a green color

on your face.. but it actually neutralizes the redness!

and afterwards you just put on a foundation of your

choice. i use everyday minerals green concealer and

their foundations.

so if you want to try them out go to everydayminerals.com

https://www.everydayminerals.com/index.p鈥?/a>

and try their free sample kit.

it comes with -3 sample foundations, a concealer, and a blush.

all you pay for is shipping!

*for your concealer i'd get their MINT concealer, it works really good, i just recently got my full sized kit and i love it!

--oh and btw the three foundations is so you can match your skin tone!
I have red skin around my cheeks and nose. I first use a tinted moisturizer (CG aqua smoothers), then concealer (covergirl), then foundation (dream matte mousse) and then another dab of concealer. I finish with an oil free finishing powder (jane oil free finishing powder @walgreens). It covers the redness pretty well.
There is a new mineral powder from Clinique specifically designed for redness from irritation and rosacea.
Use concealer that has a yellow undertone instead of a red undertone. With MAC products, that means you want an NC shade, even if your foundation color is NW. Other than that, everyone else gave great tips.
1. foundation primer all over face

2. spot concealer on the red areas only.

3. very shear foundation all over face
green tinted concealer, then apply any makeup as usual.
