Well i use Maybelline's pure makeup. works great fopr any skin type.

the pure foundation is 50% wtaerbased and oil free. wont clog pores. and it wont cause breakouts. has long lasting coverage. has vitE, alow, chamomile to soothe skin. its sooo skin friendly. i LOVE this product. my classmates and shcoolmates have commented me and siad i look blooming. :) its a gel/liquid foundation by the way. full coverage and you can ask a saleslady at the department store to help you find a shade that matches your skintone.

after you apply the foundation, you can use the pure concealer to cover those scars or whatever. but the foundation can give good coverage already. but to be sure about the coverage, use the concealer also.

after concealing, touch up with the pure powder. that also includes aloe, chamomile, and vitE to soothe skin. just pat lightly onto your face. whenever you need to retouch, just use the powder. no need to apply foundation again and again. i love maybelline's puremakeup!!!!

Yes, don't wear any. Teen don't need it yet, and you'll look cheap.
If you have light skin, try using light/soft pinks in your eye shadow, and don't go too heavy on the mascara, it looks clumpy if there is too much. Hope this helped!
The main thing is NATURAL. You want to have a balanced color palate. For example, don't pair bright red lipstick with a hot pink eye shadow and heavy blush. You should try something like a pale pink lip gloss with a light eyeshadow, some mascara, and foundation. Remember to stay NATURAL!
I suggest you start off using one product and in time if you want something new. Learn a lot about the product before you spend money on it (which one is for your skin, how to use it, what goes well with it, the prices compared etc). My first make-up product was eyeshadow (lipgloss too if that sounts). Lipgloss is fairly cheap and does wonders. I suggest whatever you do avoid starting off with mascara, eyeliner, foundation or concealer since they can be more difficult to master and can make younger people look ';harsh'; or like they are trying to grow up too fast. However, saying this if you are a teen that is older (high school age or over) these things do not apply as much.

Start off simple like other people said. Use one product and master using it. There are many brands out there that are cheaper and designed for younger people (bonnebell, wet-n'wild, lip smackers etc). I use some of these brands. When you are younger you have a very youthful glow and so I suggest you take advantage of this. Use make-up to accessories and complement your features. Don't use make-up to cover who you are. I also would like to point out that I'm not TELLING you to use make-up or what to do. Just sharing some advice.
The best style of makeup for a teen is to go for neutral colors and apply for a natural look. Colors that will bring out eyes and match with your hair color.
For foundation use a mineral based foundation, it looks natural, gives good coverage and is good for the skin. A teenager can wear makeup if she wants to, it's her decision to make. Just keep it on the healthy glow end to enhance your features!
Less is more when it comes to makeup, in my opinion, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with color!

You might want to try an eyeshadow set that has a few coordinated colors. Almay has ones specifically for certain eye colors. WetNWild has some cute ones, too--and they are very reasonably priced. Those sets come with instructions on how to wear the various colors. Usually they suggest putting a lighter color under the eyebrows, a mid-range color on the lid and a darker shade in the crease (where the lid ';folds'; up), or the darkest color can go along the lash line (like eyeliner) if you have a small brush.

As for mascara, there are a lot of colors, but black and blackish brown are most common. You can just put it on the top lashes or also on the bottom lashes, but if you do the bottom it's better to wipe off the wand with a tissue first or it can make your lashes look chunky.

Heavy foundations are awful. They just feel bad. I'd recommend a light-feeling one with a sunscreen component, or you can always put an SPF moisturizer on before the base. Maybelline has one called Everfresh that you can just put on with your fingers or a sponge and it feels light. If you want one a little heavier I suggest one like Loreal True Match. I suggest using a cosmetic sponge to apply foundation (before all other make-up) because it keeps you from having smudges, lines, etc.

Your best bet is probably to go to the cosmetics isle at the supermarket or Target, etc. and take a look around. (I like to get whatever is on sale!)

Hope that helps! :)
Anything you want as long as it blends it and looks natural.

I'm 14 and I only wear light pink eyeshadow, clear lipgloss (or red lipstick on important occassions) and sometimes a little blush if my face is really pale in the morning,

Stay away from mascara, eyeliner, and foundation. Especially ANY kind of face make up. Your body is still developing and you don't need to have 5x more of acne from too much make up.
Look at your local library for a book by Bobbi Brown called Teen Beauty. Great book and awesome makeup ideas!
Some people think that teens are too young to wear makeup, but that's not true! The point is to look natural. If you get acne sometimes, it's good to use a concealer/foundation on the pimple itself - do not put foundation on your entire face, because after a few years you'll be looking like Michael Jackson! Light and shimmery eye-shadows are great for teens (I myself love browns and pinks - they're beautiful). With that you can use a black mascara and all kinds of fruity lip-glosses! Beware dark lip-glosses - they will make you look ugly %26amp; fake. Eye liners are also bad for teens and blushes. The trick is to look pretty %26amp; natural - not like a Russian doll. Stick with that and you'll be happy!
