I just got a monroe piercing. how long do i have to wait before i can start wearing face makeup?

You can start wearing makeup straight away, so long as all yoru brushes and sponges etc are clean.


Do take care not too get foundation etc into the piercing hole.

anything that may aggrevate that piercing can result in infection so think about what you're applying to your face before you put it on. If its a hot day and you sweat, there is a small risk that you might wipe some sweat with make up over the piercing.


think hygiene, try not to touch it with unwashed fingers or at all.


so if you don't need to put make up on, maybe it's a better option.
Make sure your make up brushes are clean [I suggest you wash them with a mild soap before applying make up], and really you can apply make up like normal. It would be a wise choice to avoid using liquid foundation around the piercing, though.
